What We Do
Helix BioMedix, Inc. was founded in 1988 with the mission of developing
and commercializing small proteins known as bioactive-peptides. We are
headquartered in Bothell, Washington and shares of our common stock trade
over-the-counter under the symbol “HXBM.OB”. We have developed a proprietary
library containing a broad and diverse array of bioactive peptides.
Our patent estate covers six distinct classes of peptides, comprising
more than 100,000 unique peptide sequences. Our primary commercial objective
is to out-license proprietary peptides to entities that possess sales,
marketing and/or manufacturing expertise. Our peptides appear to have
both pharmaceutical as well as non-pharmaceutical uses including broad-spectrum
topical anti-infectives, wound healing agents, and cosmeceutical peptide
ingredients.
