Helix BioMedix, Inc. was founded in 1988 with the mission of developing and commercializing small proteins known as bioactive-peptides. We are headquartered in Bothell, Washington and shares of our common stock trade over-the-counter under the symbol “HXBM.OB”. We have developed a proprietary library containing a broad and diverse array of synthetic bioactive peptides. Our patent estate covers six distinct classes of peptides, comprising more than 100,000 unique peptide sequences. Our primary commercial objective is to out-license proprietary peptides to entities that possess sales, marketing and/or manufacturing expertise. Our peptides appear to have both pharmaceutical as well as non-pharmaceutical uses including broad-spectrum topical anti-infectives, wound healing agents, anti-wrinkle/anti-aging additives for skin-care products and anti-bacterial adjuvants for oral care.
